Why did you choose to work at Rainbow Pediatric Center? Upon first glance, it was clear this practice cares about the patient and the family. The practice isn’t run by how many patients can be seen in a day but by the care, education and treatment that is provided.
What do you enjoy about working with kids? Kids have the best smile, the biggest hearts. I love seeing children as they develop, learn and turn into the person they will be. I feel blessed to know that I am part of that process.
What is your area of expertise? Primary care and mental health. I see first hand every day how important mental health is as it related to our physical health and overall happiness. I work hard to create relationships with my patients so that I can better provide for their mental health.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not at Rainbow Pediatrics? I’ve just moved to Florida so much of my time is given to renovating an older home. I also make time to sit by the pool and read a book. I always prefer being outside.
If you only had 3 words to describe yourself what would they be? Dedicated, driven and advocate
What is your favorite children’s book? Dr Seuss books are my favorite but narrowing it down to one… I have to say “There’s a wocket in my pocket”
Tell me about your family? I have two adult sons. Both of them are adopted and have grown to independent, strong young men that make me proud. I left my youngest son, mother and grandmother back in Georgia. My oldest son lives in Fresno.
One interesting fact about yourself? I come from great genes – My grandmother will be turning 105 in May, 2022!
